Interested in commissioning a new work? Schedule a 30-minute consultation to discuss your project, artistic vision, timeline, and budget. This meeting is an opportunity for us to explore your ideas, clarify the scope of the commission, and ensure the piece is the right fit for your ensemble or event! Whether you're looking for choral music, instrumental chamber works, electronic or electroacoustic pieces, multimedia collaborations, or vocal repertoire, Riley brings a thoughtful, creative, and collaborative approach to every project. During this meeting, we can discuss: Instrumentation or voicing, Duration and difficulty, Artistic themes or conceptual direction, Text sources (if applicable), Deadlines, premiere plans, and rehearsal needs, Budget and contract details This consultation does not obligate you to move forward with a commission, it's a chance for us to connect and shape the project together!
Cancellation Policy
Meeting Length: Commission consultations are 30 minutes. If additional time is needed, a follow-up meeting may be scheduled. Payment: Inquiry meetings are free! Rescheduling: You may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance at no cost. Changes made within 24 hours cannot be guaranteed and may require booking another time. Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the meeting are welcome. Same-day cancellations may not be rebooked immediately due to scheduling limitations. Project Details: Please complete the Commission Inquiry Form before the meeting. This helps ensure we use our time effectively and allows me to prepare questions, ideas, or references that support your project. No Obligation: This meeting does not obligate you to move forward with a commission. Likewise, commissions are accepted at my discretion based on timeline, project scope, and availability. Timeline & Availability: We can discuss deadlines and scheduling during the meeting. Final acceptance of the commission depends on mutually agreed-upon timelines. Budget & Contracting: Commission fees depend on duration, instrumentation, complexity, and timeline. If both parties decide to proceed, a written agreement outlining expectations, rights, payment schedule, and delivery dates will follow.
